Nanzan University Reputation ③: Interesting Shops Nearby

There are many interesting shops nearby.

Near Nanzan University, there are the main store of Komeda Coffee and Hasshokan, associated with Rosanjin.

For history enthusiasts, this is irresistible.

Nanzan University Evaluation ①: Male / Faculty of Law, Department of Law / Current Student / Enrolled in 2023

Overall Evaluation: Many students, including myself, have experienced failure at Nagoya University, and many have put in effort due to the setbacks of entrance exams. By studying with such individuals, you can improve through friendly competition. Some skip classes, and it's okay to play with them, so I think this is a school where it's up to you, for better or worse.

Lectures/Classes: Courses are in-depth, and the level of teachers and students is high. There are also paid extracurricular courses available for those who are prepared and proactive.

Laboratories/Seminars: Motivation for seminars varies depending on the teacher, and there are differences between simple seminars and solid ones. Freshmen are automatically assigned to seminars, but from the second year, they can choose their own seminars, so they can choose the one that suits them best.

Employment/Promotion: There are courses on careers and explanations about future paths. You can also consult the career support department.

Transportation/Location: Although it's close to the station, the university is located on a hill, with many small mountains within the university.

Facilities/Equipment: The library is clean, and the entire university has study rooms and other facilities for your studies.

Friends/Hobbies: There are seminars in the Faculty of Law that deepen friendships. There are many clubs, so you can meet many different people.

Student Life: There are various clubs, and because it's a Christian school, there are many Christmas events, such as lanterns. The university is brightly lit in the winter.

Nanzan University Evaluation ②: Female / Faculty of Foreign Studies, Department of Anglo-American Studies / Current Student / Enrolled in 2023

Overall Evaluation: I dislike non-compulsory subjects, which are quite difficult because there are many tasks. There are a lot of regular assignments, but there are none during breaks, so I can do what I want during that time.

Lectures/Classes: I find non-compulsory subjects troublesome. But it's okay if you want to learn a lot of things.

Laboratories/Seminars: There are many English conversation facilities. Additionally, you can use training facilities for free.

Employment/Promotion: I don't quite understand, but I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Many people work hard in English-related subjects.

Transportation/Location: I find it difficult to walk from the station because there are too many hills around me, and I can't drive.

Facilities/Equipment: There are many clean bathrooms on campus, which is good. However, there are many hills here, which may be difficult for people with disabilities.

Friends/Dating: If you don't actively manage relationships, you won't be able to build intimate relationships.

Student Life: I do this during Halloween and other special events. I usually don't do much.

Nanzan University Evaluation ③: Female / Faculty of International Liberal Studies, Department of International Liberal Studies / Current Student / Enrolled in 2023

Overall Evaluation: The department focuses on learning various fields in English, so we not only have four English classes per week, but also have all-English courses covering everything from input to output. The study abroad system is also substantial. There is a study room called Learning Commons on campus, and there is also a Learning Commons dedicated to the International Liberal Arts College, providing a good environment for studying.

Lectures/Classes: There are many group assignments. Some classes also have professors from other universities as guest lecturers.

Employment/Promotion: There are various study abroad programs, making it easy to create topics for job interviews.

Transportation/Location: The nearest stations are Meijo Line's Nagoya University Station and Hattori-Nichome Station. It's a bit difficult to post because of the steep slope. There are many convenience stores and restaurants around the university, so you can go shopping after club activities.

Facilities/Equipment: There are two Lawson stores on campus, and the school cafeteria has a wide range of products, so you don't have to worry about lunch.

Friends/Dating: There are many clubs and circles, so you can expand your contacts horizontally and vertically.

Student Life: There are various clubs, and I belong to a light music club, but there are five groups just for light music, including clubs and circles. The school festival is very lively, with live performances by famous artists.
