Kanagawa University Review ①: Male / Faculty of Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronic Information Engineering / Current Student / Enrolled in 2024

Everything is well-organized, including various research activities, facilities, and courses. The teachers explain things in an easy-to-understand way. The internet environment is also good.

The labs are equipped with a good number of experimental tools, allowing for various experiments.

There’s a ready-made system to help you find a job, and there are study abroad programs you can include on your resume.

There are many clubs, and even the volleyball club has a variety, from casual ones to those that practice hard for competitions.
Kanagawa University Review ②: Male / Faculty of Science, Department of Computer Science / Current Student / Enrolled in 2024
Overall Evaluation
You’ll be able to learn knowledge in the first semester that will be useful in the future and master the basics of the C language. However, the difficulty of the assignments is quite high, and it’s not uncommon to spend three days on homework assigned weekly. If you rely too much on your friends, you’ll end up studying increasingly advanced material and eventually won’t be able to keep up with the course. So, I think it’s best to try your hardest on your own first, and if you don’t know what to do, talk with friends at a restaurant or similar place.
Lectures/Courses
In general education courses, students can study a wide range of subjects.
In required courses, they dive deep into a specific topic so you can gain practical knowledge.
Additionally, students are often given assignments that allow them to apply what they’ve learned.
Labs/Seminars
I just started, so I don’t have any experience yet. However, I think you can qualify even without attending seminars, as long as you take a certain number of courses.
Employment/Advancement
We have a good track record with students advancing to higher education and provide comprehensive support. I just started working, so I can’t say much yet.
Transportation/Location
For those commuting by train, the road from Higashi-Hakuraku is steep and narrow, while the road from Hakuraku is wider, passing through a shopping area with more restrooms and a gentler slope. However, I don’t really like taking the train, so I usually start from Higashi-Hakuraku.
There are plenty of power outlets, desks, and places to use computers, so you rarely run into the problem of not finding space.
Friends/Romance
I don’t know much about romance, but there are lots of clubs and circles, so I think it’s possible to find someone to date. I often talk with friends at restaurants or other places about daily life or hobbies.
Did you have an orientation for new students when you enrolled? There was a group of about 10 people where we played games and bonded, and I still hang out with the friends I made there. One of my high school friends who didn’t attend said that when he joined, it was hard to make friends because people around him had already formed bonds, and sometimes he had to eat alone.
Student Life
There aren’t any events right now, but I joined a club with some friends, and the seniors have been nice to me, so I’m having fun.
Kanagawa University Review ③: Male / Faculty of Economics, Department of Contemporary Business / Current Student / Enrolled in 2024

It’s great for students who want to attend university. The facilities are nice, and the professors are friendly. Plus, the school’s food is delicious.
Lectures/Courses
The teachers are friendly, and the courses are easy to understand, so I feel it’s a fulfilling experience.
Employment/Advancement
Kanagawa University has a high employment rate. I don’t know much about the support they offer, but the employment rate is high.
Transportation/Location
It’s a bit far from the nearest station, and you have to climb a hill, so you’ll sweat a lot in the summer.
The facilities look clean, and the equipment seems pretty good.
Friends/Romance
I think you can make friends by attending required courses, and when it comes to romance, you have to take the initiative, especially if you can’t join a club or something similar.
Student Life
There are many types of clubs, so I think you can find one that suits you.
