Meisei University Review ①: Female / Design Department, Faculty of Design / Current Student / Enrolled in 2024
Overall Review
The teachers are very kind and have taught me a lot of things that resonate with me. I recommend the Faculty of Design. The facilities and the main building are separate, so you have to walk around to get there.
Lectures/Courses
It’s easy to get into, and they teach from the basics, so it’s accessible even for beginners.
Employment/Further Studies
At the Faculty of Design, you can learn design knowledge from the ground up, allowing you to choose a job that suits you.
Transportation/Location
It’s a short walk from Chuo University Station and Meisei University Station along a covered path, making it very convenient. You won’t get wet when it rains, so transportation is great.
There are plenty of study rooms, ample private space, and an excellent environment.
Friends/Romance
I think it’s great to have clubs, as it gives you a chance to make friends with people from other departments.
Student Life
There aren’t many events, but you can have fun with friends you meet in clubs and similar places.

Lectures/Courses
There are lots of friendly professors, so I enjoy every class.
Employment/Further Studies
The support is reliable, and you can ask questions anytime if you don’t understand something.
Transportation/Location
I take the monorail to school in the morning, but because there are three universities and too many workers, the monorail is scarce, so sometimes it doesn’t run in the morning.
The buildings are very clean, and overall, it looks new.
Friends/Romance
Many students come from Meisei High School, so there are a lot of groups from the start, making it hard to make friends.
Student Life
It’s hard to get into popular clubs; they require interviews, and there’s a big gap between popular and unpopular clubs.

I don’t know yet, but I think there will be a lot of support.
Transportation/Location
It’s easy to get there by monorail.
However, it might be inconvenient if the monorail station is far away.
This is an internal transfer from high school, but the high school is nice too. I think the facilities here are the best in the city.
