Review of Shigakkan University ①: Female / Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Health and Sports Science / Current Student / Enrolled in 2024

Overall Evaluation
I’ve already learned a lot about the registered dietitian profession I want to pursue, so I’d like to study more independently and make full use of what I’ve learned in the future.

Lectures/Courses
Because I can study for my future
It’s fun because I’m learning what I like

Employment/Advancement
It seems many people become dietitians to make full use of what they learned in university. I entered Shigakkan University because I want to become a dietitian, so I’d like to keep studying to apply what I’ve learned in the future.

Transportation/Location
The only downside is that it’s a bit far from my house, but since this is the path I chose, I want to keep attending until I graduate.
Whether the school is clean or dirty doesn’t matter to me because I can study what I want.

Friends/Romance
Everyone is kind and willing to talk to me, so I feel at ease going to school.

Student Life
I feel a great sense of accomplishment. I’m grateful to have deepened my friendships through this event.

Review of Shigakkan University ②: Female / Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nutrition Science / Current Student / Enrolled in 2023

Overall Evaluation
It’s really tough, and sometimes I want to give up, but I’m still doing my best. Everyone, don’t give up.

Lectures/Courses
The content in the Nutrition Science department is rich and varied! Studying is hard, and there’s a lot of homework.

Labs/Seminars
Depending on the teacher, it might be completely unclear, and everyone chooses their seminar based on the teacher!! It’s fun, so pick based on your interests!

Employment/Advancement
The probability of passing the national exam is high, but there’s a test before the national exam, and that’s the pass rate for those who pass it, so don’t be fooled! In the end, you still have to study hard, haha.

Transportation/Location
It’s great that there’s a free shuttle bus, but for a private school, the buildings are a bit run-down. If you want to go to a beautiful school, this might not be the place for you.
They have projectors and other equipment with the latest technology, but the school buildings are still pretty old, haha.

Friends/Romance
There are very few boys in the Nutrition Science department, so it’s mostly girls! In other departments, boys and girls get along well, which is nice.

Student Life
I didn’t join a club, so I don’t know, but I recommend clubs that meet once a month! Other club activities are really busy, and it’s hard to balance them with studying.

Review of Shigakkan University ③: Male / Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Child Health and Education / Current Student / Enrolled in 2023

Overall Evaluation
I think it’s a good university for people who want to become school teachers, kindergarten teachers, or preschool teachers. It’s highly recommended for students thinking about their future because you can thoroughly learn about the field you want to study.

Lectures/Courses
Since it allows students to dive deep into the subjects they want to study, courses involving practical training are especially interesting.

Labs/Seminars
In seminar practice, students can actively participate in activities like creating performances for school festivals.

Employment/Advancement
They explain the process needed for job hunting in detail and also provide comprehensive employment support facilities.

Transportation/Location
The nearest station is Obu Station. There’s also a shuttle bus that goes through the area, so it takes about 10 minutes to get to school. There are parks and restaurants nearby.
The school generally has air conditioning, making classrooms comfortable in summer and winter. However, most school buildings have a lot of stairs.

Friends/Romance
It’s a great way to make friends because you’re surrounded by people with the same dreams.

Student Life
There are many types of clubs, and some allow you to earn qualifications that will be useful in the future.
