Evaluation of Tenri University②: Male Student / Enrolled in 2023
Overall Evaluation
I think this is perfect for students who want to study at their own pace in university. However, this is just an overview at first, so don't give up just because it seems too simple.
Lectures/Courses
I am a second-year student in Clinical Psychology. The course content at this university is not particularly outstanding compared to other universities, but I think the difficulty is average. Psychology is a profound academic field. At this university, the courses until the spring of the second year mainly cover an overview of psychology, and my impression is that they often strongly encourage studying at home.
Laboratories/Seminars
I am a second-year student, so I rarely go to the department's research labs. However, when you walk through the hallway, you will find that the classrooms are very quiet. I also haven't participated in seminars.
Employment/Continuing Education
Since our university's career paths are related to Tenrikyo, it seems that the collaboration is good.
Transportation/Location
It takes about 30 minutes to walk from the station, so it's not close. The shopping street leading to school is tiled, making it easy to pass through when biking to and from school, reducing stress. The counseling room next to our university is well-equipped. I feel that the sandbox used for sandplay therapy is much more abundant than at other universities.
Friends/Romance
By participating in clubs or extracurricular activities, you will have more friends to enjoy school festivals and sports events together.
Student Life
There are many clubs on campus, and they seem to respond to student needs.
