Kio University's Reputation and Evaluation

Reputation ①: Poor Attitude of Staff

There are many negative reviews regarding the staff at Kio University.

Specifically, the following comments have been made:

  • Belittling students
  • No greetings
  • Arrogant responses

Such issues are common in universities.

Reputation ②: Campus Lacks Vibrancy

The campus is devoid of energy. The usable space is very limited, and many students seem to have nowhere to go after classes.

Having a space to casually chat is a good thing.

Reputation ③: Affordable and Tasty Cafeteria

The school cafeteria is very cheap, which is helpful for students.

It seems they provide services that are considerate and reasonably priced for students.

Information about the cafeteria has been posted on the official Kio University blog, please check it out.

Evaluation ①: Male / College of Health Sciences, Department of Physical Therapy / Current Student / 2023 Enrollment

Lectures/Courses
I feel this class is not very interesting.
Many students are sleeping, and no one is enthusiastic.

Laboratories/Seminars
It depends on the people in the seminar, but I don't like the whole seminar.

Employment/Graduate Studies
According to seniors, the job support is not very proactive.

Transportation/Location
It is far from the station, so taking the bus is troublesome, and there is not much around.
Overall, it feels quite old. This is definitely not a sparkling campus.

Friends/Romance
I feel that many people who join clubs have many friends, but I think there aren't many loud and noticeable people.

Student Life
Compared to other universities, it feels quite shabby here, but I think it has its own character.

Evaluation ②: Male / College of Education, Modern Educational Evaluation / Current Student / 2023 Enrollment

Overall Evaluation
I think I can become a math teacher! I recommend this to those who want to be teachers but don't know which university to attend!

Lectures/Courses
The school building has recently been renovated, and I am enjoying a fulfilling university life.
I am majoring in mathematics in the College of Education, and the courses are simple, easy to understand, and practical.

Employment/Graduate Studies
My goal is to become a middle school math teacher, and I can already see my future prospects.

Transportation/Location
The bus to Goido Station runs about every 30 minutes. There is a shopping center nearby, but it's quite far from the station.
As mentioned, the school building has just been renovated! The restrooms are super clean!

Friends and Love
I don’t have a boyfriend. It's unfortunate. But I think my friendships at school are progressing well.

Student Life
I want to join a club, but none of them really interest me...

Evaluation ③: Female / College of Education, Modern Educational Evaluation / Current Student / 2023 Enrollment

Overall Evaluation
I feel the support is very thoughtful. Due to the small class size, we can pay attention to each student and conduct individual interviews. I was worried that this job required qualifications, but after the interview, I am glad to know what I should do to prepare for my future.

Lectures/Courses
Walking every day is tough, but I think it's good exercise.
I can hardly keep up with the courses, but if I work hard enough, I won't fail.
Due to the small size, it may not be suitable for those who want to fully enjoy university life, but on the other hand, I think it is suitable for those who want to focus on different things.
I have more fun than I expected.

Employment/Graduate Studies
My own course grades are not very good, but overall it's not bad.

Transportation/Location
It’s still very far. Not taking the bus is impossible. Especially bad in summer.
It's a pity there are no desserts, but the set meals are very delicious. It feels like the cost-performance ratio is not good.

Friends/Romance
I often feel lucky because everyone is so well-behaved. However, depending on the course situation, there are only girls, so finding a boyfriend might be difficult.

Student Life
It’s very fun, so you must try it. Although there are not many students, everyone doesn’t have to be shy, and everyone is very friendly to seniors. Welcome activities include large sports events that are full of fun and remind me of school sports festivals.
