Review of Kyushu Institute of Technology①: Male / Department of Intelligent Systems Engineering, School of Information Engineering / Current Student / Enrolled in 2024
Overall Review
There are many individuals excelling in their respective fields here, which serves as a great motivation. Becoming exceptionally strong depends on oneself (in my opinion). As a comprehensive university, it is not suitable for those who do not want to study.
Lectures and Courses
The level of instruction is high, especially for required courses, where failing is quite easy. The difficulty in achieving good grades varies greatly depending on the course and the professor.
Employment/Advanced Studies
I am unsure about the graduate school situation, but the employment record is as good as those of other prestigious universities. Many graduates are also employed by listed companies.
Transportation/Location
The campus is not very accessible, and there are few entertainment facilities nearby, making it a quiet place for study. Though it's a bit inferior to the Tobata campus, the facilities here seem to meet at least the minimum standards.
Friends/Romance
It depends on the individual. Personally, I have many friends because I belong to several communities. Overall, the people here are good.
Student Life
There are traditional clubs as well as those unique to technical universities. Joining a technical club has many benefits, such as opportunities for internships. My experience with C3 and KCL has allowed me to learn and grow. I am especially glad I joined C3, as the seniors there always help me in various ways.
Review of Kyushu Institute of Technology②: Male / Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, School of Engineering / Current Student / Enrolled in 2024
Overall Review
The demand for electrical and electronic products is high, so finding a job should not be difficult. Additionally, due to the large number of students, it is easy to make friends.
Lectures/Courses
My department offers courses where alumni share their insights, so it's very helpful to hear advice from those who have been very successful.
Employment/Advanced Studies
As a university with only an engineering school, the employment record is quite good. Also, each student has a designated advisor, making it easy to consult them.
Transportation/Location
The station is very close, about a 5-minute walk. Also, since it is near Kokura, finding places to have fun is not an issue. Visually, the campus looks quite old, but inside it is very modern and clean.
Friends/Romance
Since it is an engineering school, females make up only about 10% of the student body, so romance can be a bit challenging.
Student Life
To be honest, there aren't many people, so there aren't many activities either. The circles are diverse, however.
Review of Kyushu Institute of Technology③: Male / Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, School of Engineering / Current Student / Enrolled in 2023
Overall Review
Overall, the atmosphere is good and interesting, but I have no friends, so it is difficult. However, that is because I haven’t put in enough effort.
Lectures/Courses
As long as you attend classes regularly and study hard, you will earn credits.
Laboratories/Seminars
I don’t want to go to that kind of place, so I won’t comment on it. I’m sorry if this is not helpful.
Employment/Advanced Studies
The employment rate at this university is among the highest in the country, making it a very attractive option. I’ve heard they provide significant support.
Transportation/Location
This may be a bit personal, but it is far from where I live, so it’s not an ideal location. There are many different facilities here, and I enjoy my time every day, as I think many things will be useful in the future.
Friends/Romance
Making friends is something you have to do on your own. I don’t have a lover, but I’m trying my best.
Student Life
I don’t go to clubs or events because I don’t have friends, which makes me feel empty.
