Overall Evaluation
I believe this undergraduate program provides a very good learning environment for university students. The professors are all very refined and friendly, and they organize study courses and independent seminars among the faculty members. Currently, the department plans to set up a stall at the school festival for two consecutive years, and if you take initiative, I believe you will have a very fulfilling student life.
Lectures / Classes
As the name of the School of Social and Data Science suggests, courses in social sciences and data science are compulsory, and the curriculum is fairly comprehensive.
However, the level of mathematics required in the lectures is much higher than that of the entrance exam, so it seems that students need to study actively after enrollment.
Laboratories / Seminars
PBL exercises and seminar assignments begin in the third year of the undergraduate program. Since the first batch of students is still in their second year, specific details are not yet clear.
However, from what I have heard in advance, the content seems to be quite comprehensive, so I gave it five stars and have high expectations.
Employment / Advancement
As I mentioned above, I still don't understand fully.
However, the newly established department attracts students, and many students in the department are very proactive, so I believe this won't be a bad thing.
Transportation / Location
The nearest stations are Kunitachi Station on the Chuo Line and Nishi-Kokubunji Station on the Seibu Line.
Both stations require a bit of walking, but there are many restaurants nearby, and a cheap supermarket as well. If you go to Tachikawa, one station away, there will be more options and a better surrounding environment.
However, there have been several delays on the Chuo Line recently, and traveling can sometimes be quite inconvenient.
Facilities / Equipment
Overall, the facilities look quite old from the outside, but the interiors are clean, air conditioning works well, and there are no particular issues.
There is a café/lounge space called "Agora" that is available only to undergraduate and graduate students of the School of Social and Data Science. It is a comfortable place for students to study and socialize.
Friends / Relationships
As for interpersonal relationships within the university, it's best to look at the stories of students from other departments and graduate schools.
There are only a few people in the department, and often everyone takes the same compulsory courses, so it's easy to make friends. The types of people you meet vary, but I find it interesting that there are so many different types within the department.

I have wanted to major in Business Administration since high school. As expected, the quality of the lectures is great and very enriching.

Since it's Hitotsubashi, the classes are quite good. It seems that if you don't do well, you might have to repeat the year.
Laboratories / Seminars
Being Hitotsubashi, the facilities are decent. I wish the library had comics.
Employment / Advancement
Very good. A senior member of the club mentioned that many students end up working at large companies.
Transportation / Location
There are cafes and restaurants like Mac's, but it is difficult to get to Kunitachi Station itself because the express trains don't stop there.
Facilities / Equipment
There is a red checkered 400m track that is easy to run on. I think you'll have a fulfilling athletic life!
Friends / Relationships
I'm quite satisfied. However, there are a considerable number of women in certain departments. I think there isn't much related to business.
