Evaluation of Yokohama College of Commerce ②: Male Student / Faculty of Business Administration - Management Information Systems / 2022 Enrollment

Overall Evaluation
I believe it depends on my efforts, so I will do my best.
For happy individuals, every day is enjoyable.

Lectures/Classes
If you are not attractive, it might not be much fun.
This is a school where only those with a good appearance can fully enjoy themselves.

Labs/Seminars
There are many indoor facilities, so it may not be ideal for students who prefer outdoor activities.

Employment/Advancement
I feel fulfilled because many different companies visit the campus!

Transportation/Location
It’s about a 20-minute walk from the Yokohama Line station, which is a bit tiring.

Facilities/Equipment
It’s similar to other universities, so I think it's best to compare them yourself.

Friends/Romance
Be cautious when applying because the gender ratio is quite skewed.

Student Life
I think happy people will have a great time.
For those who don’t like it, it might feel like hell.

Evaluation of Yokohama College of Commerce ③: Female Student / Faculty of Business Administration - Business Management / 2022 Enrollment

Overall Evaluation
I find this university helpful for learning the basics of business. However, compared to other universities, the pace and level of learning are slower. That said, there are courses geared towards the 1st Level Bookkeeping exam, so if you take more advanced courses, you can learn more effectively.

Lectures/Classes
You can choose courses in business, tourism, sports, and management information, but the quality of students and professors is not very high. I recommend continuing your studies through Class Plus in areas that interest you. Those who want to study seriously shouldn’t be influenced by others.

Labs/Seminars
Seminars begin in the second year. The satisfaction with seminars varies, but some can enhance your skills and understanding, such as those focusing on good presentation techniques or encouraging international exchange.

Employment/Advancement
Honestly, I believe I can find a job. However, if you don’t put in the effort, you may miss out on opportunities at prestigious companies. The support usually includes seminars and internship programs, so if you are proactive, it will be satisfying.

Transportation/Location
There are two nearby stations: Namamugi and Oguchi, both about 15-20 minutes on foot. The slope is steep, making it somewhat challenging until you get used to it. Nearby are convenience stores, sushi restaurants, and ramen shops. The location offers great views, especially at night.

Facilities/Equipment
I think the facilities are fine as long as you attend regular classes.
Personally, I am dissatisfied with the lack of self-study rooms other than the library.
There are few dining options, so it is often difficult to find a place to eat due to the large number of students. Additionally, there is no grocery store, so you must walk to a convenience store for food except at lunchtime.

Friends/Romance
Joining clubs or committees can greatly expand your social circle. Working with committees to organize university festivals and engaging in club activities can help you make reliable friends.

Student Life
Although there are not many club activities, the types of clubs are diverse, so I’m sure you will find something that interests you. The university’s festivals are more fulfilling, such as inviting comedians and hosting numerous booths.
