Review ①: Female / School of Global Management / Global Management Program / Current Student / Enrolled in 2023
Overall Rating
I think it’s great that you can study specialized English and management while having the freedom to choose courses that interest you.
Lectures/Classes
There are many passionate and engaging professors.
The courses involve a lot of group work, which is very enjoyable.
Labs/Seminars
I haven't participated in any seminars yet, so I can’t say much, but I really enjoyed the communication skills seminar in my first year.
Employment/Advancement
Although it’s a public university, you can access the career center from your first year, and I feel the employment support is generous.
Transportation/Location
The university is within a short walking distance from the nearest station.
However, in my first year, I lived in a dormitory that was quite far from the university, and the uphill journey was challenging from the morning.
Facilities/Equipment
The academic buildings are very clean and convenient, with ample study spaces available.
Friends/Romance
In your first year, you live in the dormitory, so it’s inevitable that you’ll become friends with students from the same unit.
Student Life
There are plenty of student circles.
While there are active circles, they are somewhat few in number.
Review ②: Male / School of Global Management / Global Management Program / Current Student / Enrolled in 2023
Overall Rating
The courses have left me with a strong impression of improving English communication skills and learning management knowledge. I believe this can pave the way for pursuing a career that involves using English.
Lectures/Classes
I’m very satisfied! As the department name suggests, you can experience different cultures firsthand while also learning business administration!
Employment/Advancement
I’ve heard from upperclassmen that some have already secured positions at major companies.
Transportation/Location
The distance from the first-year dormitory is a bit far, so this might be a hassle. However, from the second year, I believe you can live closer.
Facilities/Equipment
The campus is new, and the facilities are well-equipped! The research labs are well-organized and easy to access.
Friends/Romance
Friendships naturally develop as you live together with your classmates in the first-year dormitory!
Student Life
Many student-led events are held, and club activities are quite popular!
Review ③: Female / School of Global Management / Global Management Program / Current Student / Enrolled in 2022
Overall Rating
My impression is that there are more laid-back students than those who study diligently. I think this is beneficial for those who want to enjoy a carefree college life.
Lectures/Classes
I find the lectures and class content to be fairly substantial. Some courses don’t take attendance, which I feel is somewhat discouraging.
Labs/Seminars
Formal seminars start in the first half of the second year. There are both strict and relaxed seminars, but I think it’s interesting as long as you choose a field you’re passionate about.
Employment/Advancement
I don’t know much about the school’s employment record since it’s only been around for a few years, but I think it has a solid employment history. Seminars offer job-hunting support, such as interview practice.
Transportation/Location
The university is close to the nearest station, about a 10-minute walk away. There’s a restaurant above the university and small commercial facilities nearby, so I think the location and surroundings are good.
Facilities/Equipment
The buildings are new and clean, with well-equipped facilities. I haven’t experienced much inconvenience.
Friends/Romance
You’re almost certain to live in a dormitory during your first year, so you’ll likely make friends after moving in. Although there are fewer male students, there are quite a few couples on campus.
Student Life
I don’t have much of an impression of the clubs, perhaps because not many students actively participate. Few students seem to join the school festivals.
