Netorabo conducted a survey from February 21 to 28, 2024, with the theme, "What is your favorite dog breed?"
In Japan, there are many different types of dogs, and many people love having them as part of their family. This time, we present the survey ranking results for the 30-something age group.
● 5th Place: Cavalier (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel)
● 5th Place: Welsh Corgi
● 3rd Place: Pomeranian
● 3rd Place: Shih Tzu

● 2nd Place: Shiba Inu (including Mame Shiba)

The 2nd place goes to the "Shiba Inu (including Mame Shiba)." Shiba Inus used to live with Japanese people as hunting dogs. They are said to be very alert and require training from a young age, but they often earn the trust of their owners. Additionally, the smaller Mame Shiba sheds quite a bit, so it requires regular grooming according to the season. Despite their small size, they need a lot of exercise, so it's best to take them for walks or let them run around a dog track to alleviate their lack of physical activity.
● 1st Place: Dachshund (including Miniature Dachshund)

The "Dachshund (including Miniature Dachshund)" was selected as the 1st place winner. There are large "Standard" sizes and small "Miniature" sizes, and the especially small ones are sometimes called "Kaninchen." The Miniature Dachshund, in particular, is known for its cute appearance, long body, and short legs. It seems that many of their personalities are friendly and pampered, creating a very calm atmosphere.
