Kanagawa Women University Review ①: Students of the Department of Nutrition Management, Faculty of Home Economics / Current Students / Admission for 2022
Overall Evaluation
Highly recommended for those earnestly aspiring to become registered dietitians! On the other hand, if your aim is merely to socialize with friends every day without a serious goal, it might be best to reconsider.
Lectures/Classes
The workload is substantial with challenging and exhausting exams. However, this is understandable given the high pass rate for the national registered dietitian exam! Recommended for those serious about becoming registered dietitians!
Laboratories/Seminars
As a second-year student, I haven't participated in any seminars yet, but I understand they are broadly categorized into experimental, regional, and clinical seminars, each offering numerous options tailored to your interests!
Employment/Promotion
It seems they prepare extensively for national exams, mock tests, and other interviews, indicating a robust support system!
Transportation/Location
The nearest station is Ofuna Station, a 10-15 minute walk from the university. The area around the station is quiet, resembling a residential district. There's also the Ito Yokado food court nearby, ensuring convenient lunch options!
Facilities/Equipment
There are only stairs inside the university! Very suitable for alleviating sedentary conditions^^
Friends/Romance
Being a women's university, romantic relationships are absent! If you have a boyfriend, he might be a part-time worker or a childhood friend from middle or high school! I haven't heard of many students having boyfriends from other departments. Interaction with students from other departments is minimal, and most friends are from extracurricular activities! If you live alone, you may have many friends working near your school!
Student Life
I don't think there are any clubs on campus! People within the circle are just people outside the circle! There are apparently some extracurricular activities. At the school festival, dance clubs, calligraphy clubs, hula dance clubs, and Okinawa Special Forces performed on stage.
Kanagawa Women University Review ②: Students of the Department of Household and Health Sciences, Faculty of Home Economics / Current Students / Admission for 2022
Overall Evaluation
If you have resigned from a civil service job, you may feel a bit vulnerable, but abandoning it does not mean your coursework has been in vain. You can participate in courses across various fields.
Lectures/Classes
Due to the small number of students, they are very generous. Coursework depends on the teacher, but classes are generally similar to those in high school.
Employment/Promotion
Interviews are conducted every semester. You can seek advice not only for civil service positions but also for general employment matters.
Transportation/Location
It's about a 10-minute walk from Ofuna Station. The path is straight and easy to navigate.

The restrooms are exceptionally clean. Wi-Fi connectivity is also straightforward. There are only a few photocopiers, so there may be a queue.

There are many amiable individuals, creating a pleasant atmosphere. As this is a women's university, most people meet through clubs or part-time work.

There is a green festival. People from outside the university can also participate. You can view seminar presentations.
