Overall Evaluation
I believe this is an excellent environment for students who wish to study English. We also offer dual European language courses, allowing you to learn a language of your choice.
Lectures/Classes
There are more classes compared to other departments, including many small group courses. Regardless of the department, there are general courses available across various fields, but first-year students must take these courses.
Employment/Advancement
Career paths for English majors are diverse, but a notable feature of the university is that many students become public servants. Therefore, many courses are provided for aspiring public servants.
Transportation/Location
The Higashimatsuyama campus for 12th-grade students is about a 7-minute shuttle bus ride from Tōbu Tōjō Line Takasaka Station. There is nothing much around, but it's not unlivable. Although my student life in Tokyo isn't as glamorous, I've grown fond of Takasaka. I like it.
Facilities/Equipment
The facilities are beautiful, and the campus itself is large. Overall, I am very satisfied.
Friends/Romance
The English department has many small classes, and since many courses are taught in a classroom setting, I don't think you will have any trouble making friends.

The Higashimatsuyama campus does not host a university festival. I'm not a member of any clubs, so I can't say much, but my friends seem to enjoy it and go every week.

Overall Evaluation
The professors are very enthusiastic. I don't think it's a good idea to treat this school as a safety net, but I am disappointed that many students in the education department don't even realize this.
Lectures/Classes
The required courses in the education department are typical university lectures. The secondary subjects are quite comprehensive, and the professors are very approachable. There are 58 credits in the education department, so if you can manage, you should choose the education courses. Additionally, you cannot obtain a calligraphy teacher's license from the education department.
Employment/Advancement
There seem to be many teachers from the education society in the education department, so if you want to become a teacher, it's a good idea. I have no intention of becoming a teacher, but I feel secure knowing there's a place where I can get career counseling.
Transportation/Location
The nearest station is Takasaka. Although the location is not great, I am satisfied because I can take the Tōbu Tōjō Line to Motomachi-Chūkagai.
Facilities/Equipment
The cafeteria and library are large and well-equipped. In winter, the campus transforms into a Christmas-themed setting.
Friends/Romance
I'm not part of any clubs, but if I talk to the person next to me in class, I am sure I will have more than 50 friends.

In the social economics department, you can learn about economic systems and the flow of money. You will also learn about employment issues and the problems associated with a declining birthrate and aging population.

Due to the small class sizes, the level of understanding is high, and the teachers provide strong support. If you have any questions, you can ask immediately.
Laboratories/Seminars
First-year and second-year economics classes are held at the Higashimatsuyama campus, but third-year and fourth-year students move to the Itabashi campus, which makes commuting a bit challenging.
Employment/Advancement
The support from teachers is very high. It is important to be able to proceed independently, and there are many subjects to choose from, providing reassurance.

The nearest station to the Higashimatsuyama campus is Takasaka Station, with shuttle buses running every 5 minutes.
