The campus is shaded by lush trees. It seems like a very enjoyable place.

Fukushima University Reputation ③: Elite of Fukushima Prefecture

Although considered elite within Fukushima Prefecture, they are not well-known outside the region.

In rural areas, having the only national university in the prefecture makes them appear the brightest.

Fukushima University Review ①: Male / Humanities and Cultural Development / Current Student / Enrolled in 2023

Overall Evaluation
There are some lectures conducted through dialogue and face-to-face interaction, as well as remote courses, providing a well-rounded course structure. The professors' stories are also engaging.

Lectures / Classes
Some of the interesting lectures are unique and not found at other universities. I often find them fascinating. The interactive courses help develop my critical thinking skills and allow me to express my cultural perspectives.

Employment / Advancement
There is a place called the Career Center that provides information on employment and career paths. Though I haven't used it yet, my friends have had positive experiences there.

Transportation / Location
Though the university is close to the nearest station, there is only a FamilyMart convenience store nearby, making shopping inconvenient. Having a car makes commuting easier, but it feels inconvenient until you get a driver's license.

Facilities / Equipment
I haven't specialized in any department yet, so I'm not very familiar with them, but the school feels well-equipped, with each major having its own building.

Friends / Relationships
He participates in clubs and frequently interacts with students from different grades. Despite being in the same grade, they often collaborate with people from different departments.

Student Life
There are various clubs, and it seems each one is engaging in fulfilling activities. I feel there are many appealing circles.

Fukushima University Review ②: Female / Humanities and Cultural Development / Current Student / Enrolled in 2022

Overall Evaluation
If you aspire to become a teacher, you can gradually acquire useful skills such as studying teaching materials, creating lesson plans, and participating in group work during mock lessons.

Lectures / Classes
There are also lectures that introduce career paths outside of teaching, broadening your horizons. For those seriously aiming to become teachers, there are many meaningful lectures, from studying teaching materials to creating lesson plans and mock lessons, allowing you to fully immerse yourself.

Employment / Advancement
Is the majority aiming to become teachers? However, my impression is that everyone has their own concerns. In fact, statistics show that only a quarter of those who initially want to become teachers actually do. If you think about it the other way around, it means everyone is reflecting on what they want to do and are able to achieve it.

Transportation / Location
The nearest station is Kanayagawa Station on the Tōhoku Main Line. The distance from the station to the university itself is good, only about 10 minutes, but because it is on a hill, the slope is steep. How many times have I wished there was a campus near Fukushima Station? Around Kanayagawa Station, aside from a FamilyMart convenience store, there is basically nothing.

Facilities / Equipment
Neither good nor bad. Is it relatively easy to move around because the buildings are connected or have many entrances? I agree, but I also think more elevators would be helpful.

Friends / Relationships
Those who want to act collectively do so, and those who prefer to act alone do that. This is probably very normal in university, and since it’s mutual, there’s no issue, so it’s not uncomfortable. Everyone who wants to fall in love does so in their own way. Connections with circles are certainly strong. So it's average, and not bad.

Student Life
I think joining any club would be interesting. The bands perform regularly, and you can also see various club activities during school festivals.

Fukushima University Review ③: Male / Agricultural and Food Sciences / Current Student / Enrolled in 2022

Overall Evaluation
It feels neither good nor bad. The lectures themselves are easy to understand, so I highly recommend it for those who want to start at an introductory level.

Lectures / Classes
There are different departments and a variety of students participating. I think this is a university where you can develop personal hobbies and professional fields. These lectures are quite normal and can be found at any university. Recommended for those living close to home.
It's close to the station.

Laboratories / Seminars
You can conduct research from various perspectives, acquiring new knowledge and techniques. The lectures and seminars are easy to understand.

Employment / Advancement
This is a great school where you can receive generous support from professors and work hard with your university peers.
I think it's a good school because you can find jobs in many different fields.

Transportation / Location
The school is within walking distance from the station, making it conveniently located for commuting.

Facilities / Equipment
Although some facilities are a bit old, they are generally well-equipped. Those who wish to use newer equipment might want to look for another university.

Friends / Relationships
You can easily make new university friends and maintain strong friendships. I think finding a new hobby would be nice.

Student Life
There are many activities, and students have a lot of fun. There are plenty of clubs, so if you are interested, I think joining is a good idea.
