Review of Osaka University of Economics ①: Female / Faculty of Informatics and Social Sciences / Department of Informatics and Social Sciences / Current Student / Enrolled in 2023

Overall Evaluation
I don't engage much with information-related activities.
I feel there are more social types of studies.
It seems the number will increase in the second year.
In seminars, you can choose to focus on information or social studies.

Lectures/Classes
Language classes are conducted in groups, so if you have a good teacher, they can be quite enjoyable.
Other lectures are mostly held in large lecture halls with many students, so if there's something you don't understand, you'll need to seek help.

Employment/Advancement
Employment support is very generous.
You can seek advice years after graduation, making it easy to switch jobs.

Transport/Location
It's close to Zuiko, but about a 20-minute walk from Kamishinjo, which means it's hot in summer and cold in winter.

Facilities/Equipment
Although there are no escalators, the facilities are very clean.
There are also sofas and tables where you can hang out with friends.

Friends/Romance
If I'm not in a club, I might not do much.
I think joining seminars will increase social interactions.

Student Life
If the club is a training club, they seem to be very interesting.
The Okusu Festival is a lot of fun.

Review of Osaka University of Economics ②: Female / Faculty of Economics / Department of Economics / Current Student / Enrolled in 2023

Overall Evaluation
In the Department of Economics, you can study society from an economic perspective. It broadens my view of society and is quite interesting.

Lectures/Classes
There is an SPI course for working adults, which is great because you can start preparing for employment from the first year, and the teachers are easy to understand.

Employment/Advancement
There are various lectures from outside professionals, which are very enriching.

Transport/Location
It's about 15 minutes from Kamishinjo and 5 minutes from Zuiko, so the location is quite convenient.

Facilities/Equipment
The place is very clean, hygienic, and environmentally friendly.

Friends/Romance
There are many clubs and societies, making it easy to make friends, but it can be difficult if you don't join one.

Student Life
There are various clubs and activities, and everyone is friendly, so it's easy to participate whether you're alone or in a group.

Review of Osaka University of Economics ③: Male / Faculty of Informatics and Social Sciences / Department of Informatics and Social Sciences / Current Student / Enrolled in 2022

Overall Evaluation
It's neither particularly good nor bad.
If you're looking to study seriously at university, I wouldn't highly recommend it.
The campus is quite small, so I can't strongly endorse it.

Lectures/Classes
During classes, most students keep their heads down, clearly disengaged. If you're motivated, you can join some seminars for specialized study, but most students are just there for fun.

Employment/Advancement
The support provided by the employment department is generous. Those who are diligent in writing their applications can easily secure jobs.
Ultimately, it depends on your own motivation.

Transport/Location
Close to the subway.
Far from the Hankyu line.
It's okay, but walking in the summer is unbearable.
I don't recommend taking the Hankyu train.

Facilities/Equipment
As a second-year student, I can't say much.
I haven't visited the labs, so no comments on that. However, the student affairs department seems very supportive of seminars.

Friends/Romance
My friendships are fulfilling. The first year is crucial because if you make friends in your courses, you'll continue to socialize in the second and third years.
My romantic life involves someone from another university. Honestly, there are many girls here who are not interested in serious relationships.

Student Life
There are many clubs, but the campus festival is not very enjoyable due to the limited space; you can walk through it in a few seconds. However, club activities are quite fulfilling.
