Evaluation of Nagoya University of Arts and Sciences: Male / Nursing Department / Nursing Course / Current Student / Enrollment in 2023
Overall Evaluation
I believe this is a good place. The fulfillment of school life varies from person to person, so I think it's a good choice.
Lectures/Classes
The atmosphere created by the teachers is excellent, and I am satisfied with the courses. They are easy to understand as each step is explained in detail.
Employment/Promotion
I think it's good. There are many types of nurses, so each nurse is working hard to reach where they want to go.
Transportation/Location
The facilities are good, and the environment is comfortable. The location is excellent, and it's enjoyable to hang out on the way back home.
Facilities/Equipment
There are new facilities available to aid in your studies. The environment is arranged reasonably and comfortably.
Friends/Romance
Since there are not many boys, it might be challenging to find love, but friendships are still good.
Student Life
There is a school festival, but some nursing students may not attend due to differences in campuses.
Evaluation of Nagoya University of Arts and Sciences: Female / Faculty of Human Care / Childcare Course / Current Student / Enrollment in 2023
Overall Evaluation
It's a good place to learn for those who want to become school nurses. There aren't many places to hang out, so I don't think those who want to fully enjoy college life would be satisfied.
Lectures/Classes
There are courses specifically tailored to becoming school nurses. There aren't many other types, so some things are still lacking.
Labs/Seminars
Although it hasn't started yet, the equipment and environment are already in place, so I think the practice will be fulfilling.
Employment/Promotion
I think the support is sufficient. Since being a school nurse is a challenging job to secure, it can't be said that the higher education record is excellent.
Transportation/Location
There is no station nearby, which is inconvenient. You need to take a bus for about 20 minutes to reach the station.
Facilities/Equipment
The school buildings are clean, and there is a simulated nursing room, so I think the environment for becoming a school nurse is already well-established.
Friends/Romance
There are mostly girls in the department, so I have to make an effort to meet new friends, such as joining clubs.
Student Life
I think there are some circles. As for activities, in October, we hold a festival jointly with Nagoya University of Foreign Studies.
Evaluation of Nagoya University of Arts and Sciences: Female / Faculty of Media Art and Design / Visual Media Course / Current Student / Enrollment in 2023
Overall Evaluation
You can learn what you want to learn. At first, you might feel a bit unsatisfied because you only learn the basics and techniques, but that time is crucial, so I have no complaints. You don't focus on a specific field like at a vocational school but learn broader things, becoming narrower and deeper.
Lectures/Classes
I think it's an environment where you can grow as long as you have a strong desire to learn. Teachers respect my creative work and give me advice, so I feel I can honestly accept and incorporate their suggestions into my work.
Labs/Seminars
Seminars start from the third year, so I can't give detailed
information yet, but there are multiple seminars in each field, and you can choose one that suits your career path.
Employment/Promotion
We have compulsory courses useful for job hunting starting from the first year at our university, so I think I've been aware of that.
Transportation/Location
The nearest station is Kamishakujii Station on the Higashiyama Line, but it takes about 15 to 20 minutes by bus from there.
Facilities/Equipment
I think the school is equipped with specialized equipment. There is a well-equipped photo studio and audio equipment, but there are also areas that only third-year students can use.
Friends/Romance
The male-to-female ratio in the department is about 4:6. There are slightly more females. Since it's a professional field, I find it easy to chat because we often have common interests.
Student Life
The clubs strike a good balance between sports clubs and cultural clubs. This year's school festival is jointly organized with a foreign language university, and I think it will be livelier than last year since the pandemic control measures are expected to be relaxed, and more stalls will be set up.
