Nagasaki University Review ①: Male / Faculty of Engineering / Undergraduate / Enrolled in 2023
Overall Evaluation: Regarding employment opportunities and employment rates, it's quite good. Regardless of the industry, it depends on your efforts in university, but I think if you have something to invest in, it will be an advantage for you in the future. If you know what you want to study, you can have a fulfilling school life.
Lectures/Classes: There is a significant individual difference in the understanding difficulty of professors' lectures, but some courses emphasize key points and keep them at a minimum, so you can acquire the minimum knowledge required for your major. There are noticeable differences in growth depending on individual efforts.
Employment/Promotion: We rarely hear about undergraduate graduates; most undergraduates continue to graduate school. The employment rate for graduate students is good, and the companies they join are often private enterprises.
Transportation/Location: Trams and buses run on the main street in front of the university, so you can access most major commercial facilities from the university. I also feel that the location and surrounding environment are perfect, with nearby supermarkets, convenience stores, pharmacies, and other daily necessities available without inconvenience.
Facilities/Equipment: Building 1 of the Faculty of Engineering is relatively old, so some areas are older, but as university facilities, there are no significant issues. However, because the cooperative and school cafeteria are far from the engineering building, it is somewhat difficult to complete shopping and other miscellaneous tasks during the 10-minute break.
Friends/Dating: Since her friendship is with the engineering department, her advantage is being able to spend time comfortably with other boys. As for romantic relationships, there are few girls, so encounters are also few. The impression of people looking for lovers in part-time jobs or friend circles is strong, and in reality, their friends also do this.
Student Life: Although there are differences in activity frequency, there are various types of circles, and it seems that each group is focused on what they like. There are quite active circles, and there are vertical connections within the circles, so I think they are fulfilling. The school festival is also lively, and I think there are many people both inside and outside the university, and everyone is having a great time.
Nagasaki University Review ②: Female / Department of Comprehensive Economics, Economics Course / Undergraduate / Enrolled in 2023
Overall Evaluation: Besides the good learning environment, there are also many students, so you can meet many people. This year's curriculum has changed, so I can get better learning.
Lectures/Classes: The liberal arts education is also solid, and learning professional subjects from off-campus teachers has been very beneficial to me.
Employment/Promotion: They have a record of working in major companies, and there is also a center called the Career Center, which can be used at any time by appointment, so they can provide a lot of support.
Transportation/Location: The Bunkyo Campus is close to the tram station, and there are many shops nearby, but the Katafuchi Campus is about a 10-minute walk from the nearest store, and there is only a convenience store nearby.
Facilities/Equipment: The cafeteria is large and the food is delicious. The stores also sell a variety of items at cooperative prices.
Friends/Dating: The clubs are also crowded, and there are many new encounters. In elective courses, you can interact with people from other departments.
Student Life: There are many clubs here, and each club offers different activities, so you can have different experiences.
