Nara Women's University Reputation ②: Close to Stations, Convenient Transportation
Nara Women's University is conveniently located, just a 6-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station and a 15-minute walk from JR Nara Station.
It's a university with convenient transportation.
Nara Women's University Reputation ③: Peaceful Atmosphere
The surrounding map of Nara Women's University is shown in the image below.

The surroundings are lively, with famous attractions like Todaiji Temple and Nara Park, lots of greenery, creating a tranquil atmosphere.
Nara Women's University Reviews ①: Female / Department of Food and Nutrition / Current Student / Enrolled in 2021
Overall Evaluation
I think it's a great university for those who want to focus on studying and research. The overall atmosphere of the school is calm, and although the assignments and lab work in the Food and Nutrition department are challenging, the connections within the department deepen.
Lectures/Classes
From the first year, there are many lectures aimed at obtaining the Registered Dietitian qualification. There are many required courses, so your schedule isn't very flexible, but you receive high-quality, enriching lectures. A feature of general education is the many lectures related to gender.
Employment/Promotion
Although my impression is that job support isn't very active, many people use their qualifications to find work, and my impression is that their employment record is very good.
Transportation/Location
About a 10-minute walk from the nearest station, Kintetsu Nara Station. However, I think there are fewer trains from neighboring prefectures.
The surrounding environment is peaceful, or some might say dull, with not many shopping or entertainment options.
However, there are old shopping streets and charming cafes nearby, with an area called Naramachi being quite popular.
Facilities/Equipment
The building isn't new, but I have no complaints as it doesn't feel outdated. However, classrooms used frequently for lectures may get cold, possibly due to the lack of air conditioning.
Friends/Romance
The number of students in the department is small, with many required courses, almost like homeroom classes in high school where everyone takes the same classes, making it easy to make friends within the department. Additionally, there is strong cohesion within the department, as we sometimes collaborate on experiments and practical training. You can interact with students from other departments through clubs and other activities.
Student Life
There are about 50 clubs in total, and I think they are very fulfilling both in sports and culture. Although not a club, there's also a Nara Food Plan that's popular in the Food and Nutrition department.
The cultural festival is also becoming more exciting, with celebrity invitees for comedy shows every year.

Laboratories/Seminars
I find the practices very fulfilling, and the content suits me well.
Employment/Promotion
I believe there's a good track record in job hunting and receiving higher education. I'm actively looking for work and have received a lot of support.
Transportation/Location
The route can be a bit confusing, but it's okay. Occasionally, you can even see deer.
Facilities/Equipment
I haven't been here long, so I'm not entirely sure, but I feel it's very fulfilling.
Friends/Romance
I'm fortunate to have such friendships, but honestly, everyone is different.
Student Life
Very good. From what I've heard from seniors, it's very fulfilling.
