The nearest station, Higashi-Kakogawa Station, is a 12-minute walk away—a subtle distance that can be neither deemed close nor distant.
Evaluation of Hyogo University① - Female Student/Nursing Department/Nursing Major/Enrolled in 2022
Overall Evaluation: I entered the university with the ambition of achieving excellent grades and dedicated learning. Despite the existence of a mentorship system, I found myself overlooked, leading to a lack of support and, consequently, a gradual loss of motivation. I strongly recommend those genuinely aspiring to become nurses to explore alternative universities.
Lectures/Classes: Some courses are taught in a clear and understandable manner. However, certain instructors speak softly without using microphones, making it challenging to hear them. In some classes, there is a considerable amount of private conversations, making it difficult to discern the teacher's words through the microphone. Some students exhibit rude behavior, easily causing distractions.
Laboratories/Seminars: While nursing students from other universities mention seminars, I am unaware of any such events at this university. The nursing practical classes are comprehensible, taught by the grade's homeroom teacher.
Employment/Career Advancement: As I have not started job hunting, I cannot provide specific details. However, it is rumored that finding local employment is feasible. I believe there may be insufficient support for seeking employment outside the prefecture, as I am contemplating doing so.
Campus Visit/Location: The university's official promotion highlights convenient transportation, which, frankly, is not entirely accurate. While there is a free shuttle bus, its availability seems limited. The university's location, coupled with sparse bus schedules, poses challenges for students. I propose an increase in the number of buses, given the high tuition fees paid by students. The closest station, Higashi-Kakogawa Station, is a 15-minute walk from the university, a distance that proves challenging in both summer and winter. The location is not favorable, situated in a residential area with limited shopping options nearby.
Facilities/Equipment: There is an equal proportion of clean and dirty classrooms. The facilities are acceptable, with an on-campus convenience store, albeit small and frequently running out of items like rice balls during lunchtime. Despite being on-campus, the store's prices are notably high.
Friendships/Romance: There are many female students in the nursing department, resulting in few romantic relationships. Friendships often form through group activities. Unfortunately, there are instances of questionable behavior, such as excessive talking in class, observing others' work during exams, and actions that raise doubts about human nature.
Student Life: The social circles are notably inactive, and I find myself envious of other universities. There are few activities, with the university festivals being modest in scale. Some classes are canceled during festivals, but my classmates typically choose not to participate, spending their holidays as usual.
Evaluation of Hyogo University② - Female Student/Nursing Department/Nursing Major/Enrolled in 2022
Overall Evaluation: The exams are notably challenging. The training facilities are well-equipped, and immediate assistance is readily available if needed.
Lectures/Classes: There are many amiable teachers. However, the instructors are quite strict, consistently checking students' hairstyles and hair colors. Despite this, each day is enjoyable.
Employment/Career Advancement: The pass rate is not particularly high, but success seems to depend on one's individual efforts.
Campus Visit/Location: Situated in a distinctly rural area with minimal surroundings. However, there is a bus service to the university, making it relatively easy to commute even if the distance is considerable.
Facilities/Equipment: The campus structure resembles that of a hospital, suggesting a focus on practical training for the future.
Friendships/Romance: Being a nursing student, everyone is friendly, and mutual assistance is common during exams.
Student Life: The camaraderie among students is excellent. While the variety of clubs is not extensive, some, like the tennis club, are particularly strong.
