Student Reviews of Seijo University

①College of Social Innovation - Department of Psychology and Sociology / Enrollment in 2019 / Female Student

"I think this is a very good school, especially for those who want to study psychology or sociology in college! It's very close to the station, just a 2-minute walk, and the surroundings are quiet. I feel the environment is great!"

②College of Economics - Department of Business Administration / Enrollment in 2018 / Female Student

"The best part is that Seijo University is very close to the station. Moreover, because the express train stops here, it's convenient for commuting to areas like Shimokitazawa and Shinjuku. However, compared to other large universities, it's relatively small, and the facilities might not be as abundant."

③College of Literature - Department of Mass Communication / Enrollment in 2021 / Male Student

"I could have been admitted to a university with higher standards than Seijo, but I'm glad I chose it because of the atmosphere here. Despite being called mass communication, I can hear the real stories of broadcasters, journalists, and others working on the frontlines. Because of the small class sizes, it's easy to ask questions to the teachers. In my department, many students are serious, and it's interesting to exchange information and opinions before exams. Many seminar teachers are very considerate, and I think this is unique to small class sizes. I like the calm atmosphere of the school.

The gym inside the school is free and very helpful; my university life has no regrets. Many people go on to work at well-known companies after graduation, and I never felt that there was any sort of educational background filtering when I was job hunting. The only downside is that transportation to the city center can be a bit challenging."

④College of Literature - Department of Cultural History / Enrollment in 2020 / Female Student

"The specialization in folklore studies, history, and cultural anthropology is very high, and the learning environment is excellent. When I was in high school, I couldn't find what I wanted to do, so I entered Seijo University just because I liked history.

Seijo University is small, and the distance between professors and students is close. The administrative department is also close, so it's easy to remember faces. I think this is an advantage that other universities don't have, and we have an environment where you can freely consult and resolve any concerns or minor issues you may have.
