Nangoku Zakka TIDA is a popular general store on Miyako Island. Themed around the island's nature, it sells original brand products, including clothing like T-shirts and a variety of adorable sundries.

The in-store "Island Cafe Tunkaraya" is a trendy café with stunning ocean views! You can enjoy dishes like tacos made with Miyako Island beef, smoothies packed with island-grown fruits, and a BBQ area overlooking the Miyako blue sea.
This time, Nangoku Zakka TIDA has launched a special collaboration with Kyushu's famous Tyrolean Chocolate. Using fresh milk and butter, crispy and light rolled wafer biscuits are baked following the traditional Tyrolean recipe, filled with smooth cream made from Miyako Island's Tarama-produced brown sugar!

Tarama-produced brown sugar is renowned for its low saltiness, subtle bitterness, and sweet aftertaste. By grinding the brown sugar into powder and blending it with Tyrolean's exclusive cream recipe, this innovative dessert was born. From the sugarcane used as the raw material for brown sugar to the beloved Miyako Island mascot "Miyako Island Guardian," this product embodies the essence of Miyako Island, making it a highly memorable souvenir.

The packaging design features a Tyrolean-style illustration of Miyako Island's symbol, the "Miyako Island Guardian," paired with sugarcane patterns representing the brown sugar ingredient. This souvenir, brimming with Okinawan charm, is an excellent choice.
This souvenir will go on sale starting May 25, 2025! Be sure to visit and purchase it when you're in Miyako Island.

[About Tyrolean]
Tyrolean celebrates its 61st anniversary.
Introduced in 1962 by Chidoriya, this Western-style confection is now a registered trademark of Chidori Manju Sohonpo Co., Ltd. A beloved Fukuoka specialty and household snack, Tyrolean was innovatively adapted from the traditional recipe of Austria’s Tyrol region. Chidoriya’s craftsmanship infuses cream into rolled wafer biscuits, continuing a delicious legacy for over half a century.
