University of Niigata Prefecture Review ①: Female / Department of International and Regional Studies / Current Student / 2023 Admission

Overall Evaluation:
I believe it is very suitable for those who wish to study international topics. In addition to English, you can also learn about Korea, Russia, and China.

Lectures / Classes:
Many of the courses involve interaction with others, so you can absorb perspectives you may not have encountered before.

Labs / Seminars:
Although it has not started yet, from what I have heard, it seems to be very enriching. It will begin in the summer of my second year, and I am looking forward to it because I can choose from various seminars.

Employment / Advancement:
Since you can study international topics, I think you can be active in various fields, especially in the public sector.

Transportation / Location:
It is very close to my home, so I walk to the university. It is also not far from a large station, so I don't think there will be any issues.

Facilities / Equipment:
I think it is beautiful, especially the library, which is full of books. No matter when you visit, you'll stay longer than expected.

Friends / Romance:
The involvement in social circles is low, so encounters are rare.

Student Life:
I generally do not participate in activities, so I don't know much about them, but I believe that is the only activity that allows many people to interact.

University of Niigata Prefecture Review ②: Male / Department of International Economics / Current Student / 2023 Admission

Overall Evaluation:
Overall, I think it is a good university because the professors are excellent and the facilities are clean. The freedom is much greater than in high school, and I strongly recommend it. However, I feel the school cafeteria is a bit expensive.

Lectures / Classes:
I think you can learn English from native speakers and study it in greater depth.

Employment / Advancement:
First-year students have many opportunities to hear opinions from future students, so I believe there is a lot of support.

Transportation / Location:
The nearest station is Ōki Station, about 800 meters from the university. The area is surrounded by many ramen shops.

Facilities / Equipment:
Building 3 was newly constructed and is very clean. However, I think the toilets in Building 1 are not as clean as those in Building 3.

Friends / Romance:
There are many group activities in English classes, which create opportunities for interaction, and I find it very fulfilling. There are also clubs, so if you join, it’s easier to make friends.

Student Life:
There aren’t many circles. Personally, I was not satisfied with this activity as the scale is very small.

University of Niigata Prefecture Review ③: Male / Department of International Economics / Current Student / 2023 Admission

Overall Evaluation:
As the name suggests, this course is generally very interesting. However, I sometimes find many of the high school-level textbooks boring.

Lectures / Classes:
There are many interesting courses, but there are also some where you just listen to stories, so there are parts that are not very enriching.

Employment / Advancement:
I think it’s not that great. I believe this is due to the proximity of Niigata University.

Transportation / Location:
It takes about 15 minutes on foot to the nearest station, making transportation somewhat inconvenient.

Facilities / Equipment:
I don’t know since I haven’t seen other universities, but it’s not particularly inconvenient.

Friends / Romance:
I’m fortunate to have many good friends because I am a good person. I don't know much about romance.

Student Life:
The circles are fun, but what about the cultural festival? According to upperclassmen, it’s not very interesting.
