Overall Rating
Some professors have put a lot of effort into creating their teaching materials, which makes the lectures engaging and expands your horizons. Overall, the classes are easy to understand, and questions are welcomed. However, some courses are not as good as those offered at top universities, so I can't say all aspects are excellent.
Lectures/Classes
One advantage is that you don't have to worry about interacting with a small group, and you can focus on studying in the library. Eligible students receive a 1000 yen Quo card. You can earn up to 48 credits each year, and there are many opportunities to interact with professors, allowing time to address professional concerns. Although some critics dismiss it as a lower-tier university, it’s ultimately about how you take advantage of the resources, such as classes, career centers, and professors, to carve out your own career path.
Laboratories/Seminars
Due to the small student population, it’s easy to get to know people by name, and you can consult with professors whenever needed. Everything progresses at a relaxed pace.
Employment/Advancement
There are numerous job-hunting workshops in the third and fourth years, including those organized by Mynavi and local companies. If you schedule an interview, you will receive support.
Transportation/Location
The campus shuttle runs from Dazaifu Station on the Nishitetsu Line, taking about 5 minutes. It’s punctual and offers seamless transportation, though the location isn't particularly convenient, and I’m not fond of the bus’s smell.

As the campus is small, there are no convenience stores, ATMs, or co-ops available. However, it seems that the network department has access to Cisco Systems equipment.
Friendship/Romance
Since it’s a relatively small school, building friendships is easy, especially through club activities and with international students. Many students seem focused on their own worlds.
Student Life
The brass band club is currently on hiatus. Most club activities are limited to athletics and sumo wrestling, with few other options like the tea ceremony club, photography club, or e-sports club. Since the student body is small, the limited selection of clubs is unavoidable. While student enrollment is full, the number of applicants is declining. It would be beneficial for the university to promote its clubs more prominently on its website.

Overall Rating
I was thrilled to be able to use Cisco equipment. I would recommend this university to anyone interested in networking. Some of my seniors have gone on to work for major companies, though big companies aren’t always the best. Ultimately, it’s up to you to make the most of your time here and enjoy a fulfilling student life.
Lectures/Classes
Choosing your courses wisely is essential. There are many different options, so it’s advisable to gather as much information as possible before deciding. Sit in the front rows during classes. Since very few students take lectures seriously, professors will remember your face if you do. The small student population allows for close interaction with professors, making it easy to seek their guidance.
Employment/Advancement
The staff at the Career Development Center (CDC) are very helpful and respond quickly. They offer plenty of support, including opportunities for internships that even first-year students can participate in. However, you need to be proactive to take full advantage of this. In my department, many seniors who worked hard received offers from prestigious companies, and they seem satisfied with their post-graduation careers. Ultimately, it’s up to you.
