Hirakubozaki (平久保崎)
Hirakubozaki, located at the northernmost tip of Ishigaki Island, is a gently rolling hill. From the cape's summit, you can see the Pacific Ocean to the right and the East China Sea to the left, and on clear days, even Iriomote Island is visible. The gentle pastureland, white lighthouse, and the contrasting blue sea and sky create a striking scene.
In 2016, it was designated a "Lover's Lighthouse," attracting many couples. From Hirakubozaki Lighthouse, you can enjoy a stunning 360-degree panorama.

Southern Gate Bridge (サザンゲートブリッジ)
The Southern Gate Bridge is a 440-meter-long bridge located near Ishigaki Island's remote island terminal. This bridge connects the artificial islands of Miyahira-cho and Yashima-cho, offering scenic views of floating islands and crystal-clear waters.
You can walk across the bridge or take the stairs to reach the top. The view of the sunset while feeling the sea breeze is particularly beautiful, making it one of the best sunset spots on Ishigaki Island.

This uninhabited island, officially named Hama Island, is about a 30-minute boat ride from Ishigaki Island. It is called Hama Island because it only appears at low tide. Its rarity and beauty have been featured in various media, making it a famous attraction!
This isolated white sand island floats in crystal-clear waters, giving you a feeling of being in paradise. The color of the sea changes from light blue to deep blue, which is a must-see!

Ibaruma Sabichi Cave (サビチ鍾乳洞)
Ibaruma Sabichi Cave is one of Ishigaki Island's finest limestone caves, formed approximately 37,000 years ago. It is known as Japan's only cave that leads to the sea, offering the unique charm of enjoying both the beautiful sea and the limestone cave simultaneously.
The cave is about 237 meters long, filled with uniquely shaped stalactites and stalagmites, creating a spectacular sight. These unique rocks have been named "Niagara Falls," "Parthenon Temple," and more. The giant ice column rock and numerous coral fossils are especially worth seeing!

Miyara River (宮良川)
Miyara River, located in the southern part of Ishigaki Island, is one of the largest rivers on the island. Near the river's mouth, there is a mangrove forest stretching about 1,500 meters, registered as a national natural monument in 1972.
Known as the "Hirugi Forest" because it is home to Hirugi species, it exudes a tropical jungle-like atmosphere. Kayak tours are particularly popular, allowing you to navigate the river and get up close to the mangroves, creating a sense of unity with nature.
